My daily routine is in French. Dialogue my work day
The French take food very seriously and emphasize in every possible way that fast food and everything around it is not even food, but nothing more than satisfying physiological needs.
In France, despite all modern trends, the most common type of food is more structured, which involves the absorption of food at a certain time (usually 2-3 times a day) in a certain order and combination.
French "routine"
french breakfast often surprises foreigners with its modesty, unlike English. It usually includes yogurt, coffee with milk, hot chocolate or juice, accompanied by a traditional croissant, bun or toast with jam. According to statistics, a fifth of the French do not eat breakfast at all, although in small towns breakfast can be less dense.
Lunch in France is of incredible importance. Everyone who was in this country watched with surprise how from 12 to 14 o'clock offices, auditoriums, shops are empty: for the French, the sacred lunch time comes. Most often, it is also quite light: soup, salads, meat or fish snacks, vegetables, indispensable cheese and dessert. Bread is served at all stages of the meal, but consumed in small quantities. At the same time, lunch remains a meal that most often takes place outside the home, so cafes and restaurants are full of visitors at this time.
Dinner(by time it usually falls at 7-8 pm) is usually plentiful, but recently this trend is receding under the onslaught of the idea of \u200b\u200bhealthy eating. The whole family gathers for dinner, sometimes friends are invited: a good company is no less important component of the meal than the dishes served. Dinner usually includes several courses, including cheese, which is served either before or instead of dessert, and, of course, wine.
Aperitif and digestif
One of the characteristic French traditions is aperitif. An aperitif is not only a drink served before dinner to stimulate the appetite, but also light snacks for it - nuts, crackers, canapes, etc. Each region has its own specific drink for an aperitif: in southern France it is an anise liqueur " pastis", in Auvergne - " suz"(gentian tincture), in Alsace it can be both beer and white wine, in the central districts - "kir" (a mixture of currant liqueur and white wine) or "kir-royal" (a mixture of currant liqueur and champagne), in Normandy- Calvados, in Burgundy - blackberry liqueur, etc.
By analogy with an aperitif, after dinner, guests are usually offered digestif- usually these are strong drinks designed to promote digestion after a meal. The main thing, however, is communication, without which a good French dinner is simply impossible to imagine.
My day Ma journee
Ma journée commencement à 6h30. Je mets mon réveil à 6h45, mais mon chat Minou me réveille à 6h30. Alors, tout d'abord, je nourris mon chat. Apres je fais avec Minou mon lit et ma gymnastique. Ensuite je vais dans la salle de bains, bien sûr avec Minou, pour faire ma toilette. Je me lave, me brosse les dents, me peigne (coiffe) et me parfume (…je me rase; je me maquille).
My day starts at 6:30. I set my alarm for 6:45 but my cat Minu wakes me up at 6:30. So, first of all, I feed my cat. Then I make the bed with Mina and do exercises. Then I go to the bathroom, with Minwoo of course, to clean myself up. I wash my face, brush my teeth, comb my hair and put on perfume (shave; put on makeup). After the morning toilet, I get dressed and go to the kitchen to prepare breakfast. Usually, for breakfast, I eat cereal with milk, or cottage cheese, yogurt and fruit. Sometimes I eat sandwiches with butter and jam. Usually, I drink tea. I have breakfast and watch TV. At 7h30 min. I'm getting in and out. I go to work (school, university) by subway (by bus, by car, on foot). I get there in 15 minutes. I start my working day at 8 o'clock (my classes start at 8 o'clock). I have lunch break from 12:00 to 13:00. I go to a cafe near my work (I go to the cafeteria; I go to the student cafeteria). After a break, I resume work. I finish at 5 pm. Returning home, sometimes I go to the supermarket, which is not far from the metro station, to do some shopping. I'm at home at 6 or 6 pm. 30 minutes. I feed Mina and cook dinner. Usually it's soup or salad. I drink tea or hot chocolate. In the evening I read or watch a good movie while petting Mina. On Wednesday evenings I go to the gym. On Friday evenings I go out with my friends.

Every child has a lot of things to do during the day. They all succeed. Play, move, eat, sleep, draw, scatter toys, take a walk ... They are all interested. Let's learn together with them to describe the events of their every day in French.
- For proper use of the materials, please read
- To properly prepare your child for lessons, read
- Don't skip topics, do them one by one. But it is possible and desirable to periodically return to the topics covered.
- To start each class right, use the transition rituals to foreign language. You can read about them in the Introductory Lessons.
- If you yourself are just starting to learn this language, then it will be useful for you to read
Tasks
Tasks can be done in any order, combined with each other.
№1
Say phrases from the templates to your child by combining different words. Speak whole sentences, not individual words("Tú duermes", not just "dormir"). Be sure to accompany words with positive emotions and actions. Show photos or pictures of relevant events. Show similar situations on toys, how they go to bed, wake up, wash themselves, brush their teeth, eat, play, dress, go for a walk. Each action is accompanied by the appropriate phrase:
- Il dort (he sleeps)
- Il mange (he eats)
- Il joue (he plays)
- Il se lave (he washes / washes)
Don't translate anything. Repeat each phrase several times. It is not necessary to use all phrases and words in one lesson. One such task should last no more than 3 minutes, then finish the lesson or move on to any other task. Use toys, make skits and mini-dialogues with them to show the child the principle of this task.
An example of a dialogue (when the toy speaks, change your voice and facial expressions, move the toy):
- — Que fais-tu le matin? (What do you do in the morning?)
- — Je me reveille. Je lave mon visage et mes mains. Je me brosse les dents. Je mange. (I get up. I wash my face and hands. I brush my teeth (show the appropriate movements on the toy))
- — Que fais-tu le jour? (What are you doing during the day?)
- — Je joue. Je m'habille et me promène. Je mange (I play. I get dressed and go for a walk)
- —Qu'est-ce que votre mere fait pendant la journée? ((What does your mother do during the day? (Need a toy that will act as a mother))
- — Elle cuisine. Elle joue avec moi (she cooks. she plays with me)
- — Que fais-tu le soir? (What do you do in the evening?)
- — Je lave mon visage. Je me brosse les dents. Et je vais au lit (I wash my face. I brush my teeth. And I go to bed)
- — Que fais-tu la nuit? (What do you do at night?)
- — Jedors. (I'm sleeping)
№2
See different pictures and your family photos, where you can see what different family members are doing. Name the time of day when events take place, and also name the actions that the characters perform. You can pick up photos of relatives that the child has not seen in advance, or take fresh ones. Ask the child what relatives are doing in different photographs, tell them yourself. Photos can include different events, not just daily life. Use words from previous topics.
№3
Read any verse to the child and perform the necessary movements in the text. You can hum every rhyme to any tune. Repeat the verse several times at one time. Connect toys to the game. Let them do the movement too. Find the lyrics below.
№4
Draw, sculpt and make colorful crafts as much as possible. Draw your family, the child himself for different activities. Sculpt different scenes from your life. Draw small, simple comics.
Draw different people and animals different colors for different activities, at the same time train words from previous lessons.
Example:
— Tu es la. Tu te reveilles. Tes yeux sont petits. Tu es fatigue. Tu vas et laves ton visage et tes yeux. Et maintenant, tes yeux sont grands! Tu les as lave! Mais regarde! Tes dents sont jaunes. Tu te brosses les dents et ils sont blanc! (it's you. you're waking up. your eyes are small. you're tired. you go and wash your face and hands. now your eyes are big! you washed them! but look! your teeth are yellow. you brush your teeth and they - white!)
The funnier and more unusual your drawings are, the better. Surprise your child. Only bright and positive impressions make the child remember something and make him want to repeat after you.
№5
Play a guessing game with your child.
- — Devine quoi! (Guess!) Que fais-je? (Show with gestures how you brush your teeth, comb your hair, wash your face, wash your hands, eat, sleep, etc.)
- — C'est vrait. Je me brosse les dents.
Add words to the game from the theme of movement (jump, run, sit, etc.)
№6
Watch the video, sing along (even if only those words that you know) and perform the movements.
New vocabulary
- you should know these new words before starting classes with your child
- You can learn words not all words at once, but in groups of 3-5 words, and gradually add them over several days
- The third column shows the transcription in Russian letters. Attention! Not all French sounds can be conveyed in Russian letters! This is especially true for nasal sounds (when the syllable ends in n), the French burr r, and some vowels. To avoid mistakes, be sure to read

Grammar Quick Reference
For parents who are starting to learn the language or who do not speak it well enough:
- You need to master the following grammar rules:
1. Future time the addition of the verb aller in the appropriate gender and number is formed before the semantic verb in the infinitive form.
Example:
- Je vais le faire demain (I will do it tomorrow)
Conjugation of the verb aller(literally: to go in some direction, to leave)
- je vais
- tu vas
- il/elleva
- nous allons
- vous allez
- ils/elles wont
2. Question in the future formed by rearranging aller before the subject (or changing intonation)
Example:
- Was tu le faire demain? (Will you do it tomorrow?)
3. Denial in the future tense formed by adding ne … pas around the verb aller
Example:
- Je ne vais pas le faire demain (I won't do it tomorrow)
Congratulations! You have mastered the basic 3 tenses of French.
There are, of course, other tenses that already convey various subtleties of speech, but the three that we have considered are quite enough for free colloquial speech.
Just in case:
- For verbs that form the past tense with avoir (majority)
Time | Statement | Negation | Question |
Future | Je vais parler | Je ne vais pas parler | Vais-je parler? |
The present | Je parle | Je ne fais pas | Parle-je? |
Past | J'ai parle | Je n'ai pas parle | Ai-je parle? |
- For verbs forming the past tense with être (reflexive, some verbs of motion and change of state)
Time | Statement | Negation | Question |
Future | Je vais tomber | Je ne vais pas tomber | Vais-je tomber? |
The present | Je tombe | Je ne tombe pas | Tombe-je? |
Past | Je suis tombé | Je ne suis pas tombé | Suis-je tombe? |
Children do not need to explain the times. Just use them in speech in the appropriate situation. The child will understand and remember. Just as it happens with native speech.
4. Formation of reflexive forms of verbs.
Reflexive verbs include verbs whose action is directed at themselves, i.e. to the subject. In French verbs include:
- which are used in Russian with the addition of -sya and -s at the end of the verb (to wash (laver) - to wash (se laver).
- which are translated into Russian with the pronoun yourself / myself (I feel good (je me sens bien))
- a number of other verbs that you just need to know (my name is (je m'appelle))
In French, if we want to turn the action on ourselves, pronouns are used after the verb: me, te, se, nous, vous.
Example:
- je me lave (I wash myself)
- tu te laves (you wash)
- il/elle se lave (he/she washes)
- nous nous lavons (we wash ourselves)
- vous vous lavez (you wash your face)
- ils/elles se lavent (they wash themselves)
