1. Ships to explore in EVE Online
1.1 T1 frigates
The most accessible ships for exploration are Tier 1 frigates: Imicus , magnate , Heron , Probe. They have small bonuses to scanning and breaking containers. Therefore, the recommendation is simple: fly them in highsec for the initial experience. Of course, no one forbids you to fly in lowsec and climb into wormholes, but be prepared for the fact that lovers of easy prey will catch you there.
1.2 T2 frigates (Covert Ops)
More advanced versions of explorer frigates -, Anathema , Cheetah , Helios. In addition to stronger scan bonuses, they can carry Covert Ops Cloaking Device II. This qualitatively changes the process of moving through dangerous sectors of space. You can warp with a carpetcloth while remaining invisible. This makes the ship almost elusive. Also, clock does not affect the normal movement speed, unlike other similar modules. This is a big plus if you are warping for a date or relic, and the containers are at a distance of 60-70km or more. In addition, T2 frigates have bonuses to combat capabilities. The pluses include the fact that T2 frigates are relatively inexpensive. A body kit with a body kit will cost you 25-30kk. This money is repaid for one successful flight.
The disadvantages include the fact that it takes a long time to pump skills into them. Requirements: Racial frigates and Electronic Upgrades in V, which takes about three weeks in total. In addition, they are completely unsuitable for passing combat anomalies and dates and archaeological sites protected by sleepers. It only takes a couple of sleeper frigates to turn your ship into junk.
1.3 Faction ships
Faction ships for exploration include ships from the Sisters of EVE faction: frigate Astero, cruiser and battleship Nestor. They have bonuses for scanning and hacking. The advantages include low requirements for minimum skills and the ability to carry a carpet cloak. Often, beginners choose these ships because they can be boarded quickly, rather than waiting three weeks for the skills needed for Tier 2 frigates to swing.
The ship in EVE Online is the main location of the capsuleer throughout the game. And in order for the fan from the game to be maximum, it is worth paying attention to the ship classes. Each of them requires pumping certain skills. In total, there are about two hundred different models in the game, each of which has its own specialization and control subtleties. About the ship Tormentor in EVE Online in the language of numbers
As of the release of Inferno, the Tormentor no longer has bonuses to mining lasers; they have been replaced with increased damage from lasers and more economical use of the onboard battery by lasers. Ship bonuses include (for each Amarr Frigate skill level):

Battle Tactics on the Tormentor
Unlike most frigate-class ships that are capable of this kind of DPS, the Tormentor can take surprisingly high amounts of damage with Small Ancillary Armor Repairer (AAR) and Small Armor Repairer II (SAR). As soon as your shields are on the verge of depletion, turn on the SAR in overheat mode. Every 4 seconds you will restore approximately 1/6 of your armor.
When the supply of armor plates is approximately in the middle, connect the AAR. Each cycle of this module will add another ~25% of the total amount of "armor". The Tormentor has a fairly strong plating (for a frigate), so you can count on good survivability in combat. Your armor's hitpoints will go from close to zero to an almost completely white stripe - this is quite normal for a frigate. Do not forget that speed also provides you with some advantage over your opponent.
Be aware that lasers have poor tracking and you can miss due to the fact that you develop too much speed! This is a fairly common mistake for pilots of the Amarr frigates, and especially the Tormentor. Choose the golden mean and stick to the optimal engine operation - no need to use the afterburner (afterburner) or microwarp drive in overheat mode, if there is no serious need; it makes sense to enable and disable acceleration modules at some intervals. If you find yourself not doing all the damage you're used to, you may need to slow down a bit.
The first task when mastering a new MMO is to provide yourself with the resources that will allow you to play comfortably. This was the first lesson I learned from Everquest 2. The constant lack of cash slowed down the gameplay, it got to the point that I began to buy platinum for real. In WoW, the game went not least because there was enough money for everything. In principle, there were enough quest fees, digging ores and skinning.
EVE Online is a costly game. good ships they cost a lot, it’s easy to lose, and the fixed idea “buy plex for suits” dominates many minds. Therefore, from the very beginning, the goal was to create permanent sources of income for myself, so as not to limit myself too much in the arsenal and pay for at least one account with claims. The task was not too easy. Experience is needed, practice is needed. Remembering your experiences with the planetarium in May last year, it becomes ridiculous. Then for the whole month, less than 30k claims were removed from two characters in the imp. Now so much is removed from one in a few days. Exploring was lucrative, but Icelandic random is almost like Korean random. After moving to VX, it became easier with cash, but it took a few more months and billions of lawsuits to level up skills and invest in characters.

The only thing that I don't really like so far is the ratio of the time to search for a fight and the fight itself, as well as the banal probability of a drain on the gate. Rifter in pve
There is hardly a character of the Minmatar race who has not done the first level missions on the rifter. The ship perfectly accelerates up to a kilometer per second, which allows it to maintain the proper distance to opponents. In the artillery build, the rifter is excellent at killing enemies at distances of 10-15 kilometers, where not a single enemy npc reaches in the first level missions.
If you put machine guns on the rifter, then its DPS will become so great that the opponents will crumble in 3-4 seconds. High speed will allow you to leave if you smell fried. Look for this ship in the market section of eve online "sale of frigates". The Rifter is the perfect aid for the beginner.
Rifter in PvP
It would be very strange not to pay attention to the PvP qualities of the rifter frigate, eve online knows many cases of successful use of these frigates in the form of a mosquito fleet to distract the enemy or as "catchers", tacklers. Now they will object to me: how is it that the tackler needs to make an exchange in eve online for another frigate - Vigil! Yes, I will not argue, Vigil is much faster than Rifter. Comparison with competitors
Of course, Rifter is not perfect. It can't be made impenetrable like the Amarrian Punisher, the Caldari Kestrel is much better suited for missions, and the Incursus has a gigantic drone advantage. But the Rifter's versatility makes it the best T1 frigate.
