Essay - a discourse on the profession of a teacher
Russian language and reading teacher Reish O.M.
“A child is like a butterfly in the wind. Alone
can fly higher than others. But each
flies the most in the best possible way. Why
compare it to others? Each is different
from others. Each one is special. Each one is beautiful!
Every person at some point in his life makes an attempt to evaluate the past years. Everyone has their own reasons.
So I began to catch myself thinking that I want to stop, look back, but evaluate not my whole life, but those years that were given to the profession.
My school photo album. Each photo in it is a piece of life. Here is the caption under the photo: September 1, 1975. Yes, it's me, small, funny, with a big white bow - a student! My eyes are full of joy, anxiety, expectation. Maybe then I decided to become a teacher?
It's been 12 years. I'm on a bus past yellow fields, past some villages, past a beautiful cedar forest, on my way to become a teacher at a small rural school. That first class is still before my eyes: small and large, polite and not very polite. Then I was very worried about the question: will I be able to teach these kids to write and read, to count, and most importantly, to think and reason? Will I be able to justify the trust of moms and dads, colleagues?
Being a teacher is an honor, but also a responsibility. It is necessary to be able to notice the success of the student in time, to encourage and help to open up - this is my task as a teacher. Professionalism is needed in any business, and especially in pedagogy. Pedagogy is a constant search, obsession, creativity. We cannot rest on our laurels, because pedagogy is not a frozen science, but an eternal movement forward.
Studying special literature, new technologies, methods, I have determined a position for myself pedagogical activity- a student-centered approach to children, which is based on the educational dialogue between the student and the teacher. The main direction of this technology is the creation in the classroom of conditions conducive to the formation and development of personal qualities junior schoolchildren. For this purpose, I use group and individual form of work. research, creative work students, the ability to analyze, compare, Team work student and teacher also help to more fully explore and develop the personality of each student.
Working as a teacher, you try to fully comprehend the undisclosed truth: “Who are you, teacher? What is the meaning of your work?
A baker rejoices at the baked bread in a few hours, a hairdresser sees the result of his work in an hour, an agronomist harvests the grown crop in 3 months. And only a teacher needs to work for a long time, wait for years to see the result of his creation and feel happy. The teacher is most often dissatisfied with himself and his work; and the mistakes made in the work of a teacher are much more terrible than other mistakes: after all, they hurt children's souls. The teacher should always enter the class with a bright soul, a smile, no matter what happens, no matter what difficulties you encounter in life.
Does the teacher have patience and genuine interest in the child? The child is always right. He and his parents are guilty among those who love more than themselves in pedagogy.
What is wisdom? To state a fact, to exert pedagogical pressure or to show the child the prospect of his development, to encourage, support, explain? Scolding a child means hurting, embittering, pushing him away from you. Respect the student, consider him equal to yourself, peer into him. And suddenly you suddenly notice one day that he is sincerely surprised by genuine attention to himself. Children know how to be grateful. They will work hard. Love determines the degree of protection of the child in this world. I am convinced that any pedagogical concept can be implemented under one main condition - to love children and accept them as they are, to protect them with love simply for the fact that they are children!
folk wisdom says: as you sow, so shall you reap. And this is about us teachers. primary school. We must sow in every child good, bright, evaluate in time, open a heart little man if necessary, cure. How important it is to be on the same level, “of the same height” with your student. Otherwise, you will not look into his eyes. And with what kind of eyes do children come to school for the first time?! Only a primary school teacher will understand me! Anyone who has ever stood in front of dozens of wide-open eyes looking at you with curiosity, fear, hope and faith will understand. How can you not justify their hopes?
I try to be a hope and support for my students, to show a kind attitude towards them, to be creative in my work, but this is not enough. It is necessary to be patient in anticipation of the results of their pedagogical efforts, to remain optimistic even in the most difficult circumstances.
Now I know that the love and respect of students cannot be earned only by armed with modern methods, new technologies, concepts. It also requires hard work of the soul. The main thing is to learn to see and appreciate in a child that unique individuality that distinguishes us all from each other, to be able to ensure the freedom of self-expression of his personality and to understand that a child is a person who has his own idea of the world, his own experience and his feelings.
September 1, 2016! New academic year! I thank fate for the fact that I can experience moments of happiness when, entering the classroom, I see the open faces of the students, their inquisitive, waiting look. And I believe that we will succeed!
Essay on pedagogical theme“My profession is a teacher”
In every teacher must shine and never fade awaylittle spark of a child.
V.A. Sukhomlinsky
At some point in life, every person faces a choice of profession. At this moment, it is important to listen to yourself, to your heart, to feel attraction and to feel faith in the cause, which in the future will be most life... And only then the success of such an important choice will allow the individual to realize himself at the peak of his abilities.
My vocation, the need of the soul and my conscious choice is to be a primary school teacher. It is to BE AND LIVE this path, surrendering entirely, and not to be a "accidental fellow traveler" in the profession in order to ensure one's existence.
Teaching is a complex and responsible profession. There is a lot to be said about the job of a teacher. Here, on the one hand, there are teachers' councils, methodological associations, parent meetings, plans, reporting documentation, checking notebooks, daily home preparations for lessons, and on the other hand, creative meetings, projects, small and large discoveries, and every day communication with the guys. This is a world full of noisy children's voices, sincere love, this is a sparkle in the eyes, this is an insatiable interest in everything new, something more than just a job ...
Why do I like my profession? I like that my students need me every day, every hour. I also like my profession because I live in wonderful world, which does not let me stop even for a moment, where today is not like yesterday, where every second is a search for something new, insanely entertaining. Where all the time you have to be interesting to others and always remain so, where you just need to be a perpetual motion machine and a generator of ideas and ideas. Therefore, only the most patient, sincere, responsible, kindest, most interesting and bright people get along in this world! After all, this is a special world - this is the world of childhood!
What am I guided by? When I started to take the first steps in pedagogy, I chose the following principles for myself:
1) Don't give up. Even a broken knee or a lost pen can cause tragedy for a child;
2) Smile no matter what happens. We have many reasons for disappointment, it is important to learn to look at everything philosophically and with humor. No problem should kill the smile that the teacher gives to the students;
3) Every child is an individual. Only a person can think freely and have his own opinion, correctly assess the current situation and make a decision.
4) Learn to learn. The main change in society that affects the situation in education is the acceleration of the pace of development of society. A thinking person is the highest value today. The modern school and new standards, in my opinion, require modern teacher not only keep up with the times, but one step ahead.
For quite a long time, the education system was dominated by authoritarian pedagogy, designed for the "average" student. In this situation personal qualities learners were not always adequately taken into account and insufficiently developed. For modern society changes are needed in the education system. Naturally, interest in education has increased, the central element of which is personality-oriented learning and the development of an independent creative personality. The most important personality traits are initiative, the ability to think creatively and find non-standard solutions, and the willingness to learn throughout life. All these skills are formed from childhood. The school is an important element in this process. Hence the main tasks modern school- revealing the abilities of each student, raising a decent and patriotic person, a person ready for life in a high-tech, competitive world. Schooling should be built in such a way that graduates can independently set and achieve serious goals, skillfully respond to different life situations.
For my students, I should be not just a teacher, but also a mentor. Not just to give knowledge to children, but also to educate them. But in order to achieve a result, I need to become a friend to the student. The soul of a child is like a mosaic consisting of many particles, which the teacher must put together. I get real pleasure and healthy excitement when children answer each other at the lesson, when they try to express their thoughts, when sparks of joy from the received praise light up in their eyes. I do not reproach the child for the wrong answer, for an excessive desire to speak out, I listen and give advice, an assessment. To make the lesson interesting, I teach the child to work. My students and I work closely together, make friends, and jointly acquire knowledge.
Why is a primary school teacher?... Is it possible to refuse the words: “You are my first teacher, and I will remember you all my life”, “You are so kind, like my mother”, “I missed you so much” ... Children have always called I have the warmest and most tender feelings. Sometimes I am told that it is impossible to love other people's children. But how then to call those feelings with which you go to class?!... This is also the anticipation of a new day with new discoveries; and the desire to surprise and see burning eyes; the opportunity to exchange a piece of warmth and care; in the end, get a charge of spontaneity, openness, desire to learn something else ... Isn't this love? But among other things, this is precisely what our children lack to a greater extent, since many parents are forced to spend a lot of time at work in search of funds for the maintenance of the family in order to give the children everything they need. And if we add to this fact the desire of a modern woman for all kinds of independence, then it becomes obvious how much attention a child lacks. And at that moment I realize that, how it will turn out school life child, depends largely on the teacher, and therefore - on me. And I think a lot about how to help a child at the very beginning of his journey, his development, in his mental and spiritual growth and becoming.
So let love warm my students in Hard time let knowledge help to find a place in life, and human qualities to survive and win.
“The lesson is over,” I tell the guys, but every time I know that my lesson will continue. And life itself will continue it ...
There will be talent-daring wisdom in him.
He will carry the sun on his wing...
Teaching is a long-range profession
Home on Earth.
(R. Rozhdestvensky)
Teacher! Each person, looking back into the past, remembers his childhood. And he will certainly find in the depths of his memory bright feelings and thoughts addressed to the school, to the teacher.
Teacher! The warmest childhood memories are associated with this word. The teacher meets the children for the first time on the threshold of the school and escorts them to independent life. The teaching profession is said to be eternal. The profession of a teacher is everyday hard work and a daily celebration of the victory of knowledge. There is no greater happiness for the Teacher than the success of his students.I will tell my story about why I became a teacher.
Why did I become a teacher? I started this question back in early childhood. studying in primary school, I often imagined myself in the role of my first teacher Elena Borisovna. When she got home, she said everything she said in class. I wanted to be like her, stand at the blackboard, constantly tell something, write it down.
But my mother played a huge role in choosing my profession. She was my first assistant and adviser. You guessed it, she is a teacher. I saw how my mother prepared for each new day of classes, how much effort, time and attention her work requires. But that didn't stop me. Then, already in high school, I helped my mother check notebooks, studied with her students. While still at school, I dreamed of a pedagogical future. And when I graduated from high school, I knew for sure that it would be so.
And here I am a first-year student of Semipalatinsk Pedagogical Institute. Now I remember my way into this, as I later realized, difficult profession. Four years of conscientious study at the institute are the steps of knowledge: the first steps that I took to become a teacher. Every day I gained knowledge and life experience and met wonderful teachers who gave solid knowledge and charged me with their energy and optimism. They opened the road for me, along which I must go long and persistently in order to proudly bear the wonderful title of "teacher"
I got into mine home school to native teachers. I realized that in this team I would find help, support and support.
I really like my profession, I love working with children, explaining to them new material, talk to them.
But work in a school has its own difficulties, since the work of a teacher is not only teaching and extracurricular activities, but also many other duties that a young teacher does not always understand and can master.
To overcome these problems, teachers who came to work at the school immediately after the walls of the institute should have support from their mentor.I found my mentor in the person of head teacher Gulnar Turgalievna Mukanova. It was she who helped me overcome all the difficulties in my work, helped me to believe in myself.
The teacher must accept and love every child who enters the class. Give a piece of your warmth, show great patience towards them, teach everything that you know and can do.
“I am in gratitude for the lessons of life,
I bow my head low,
Among the professions useful to society,
I give my heart to teaching"
I am very glad that I became a teacher. After all, every day spent at school takes us back to childhood. Although sometimes it is not easy for us, we sow reasonable and eternal things in our children. From year to year we become wiser, gain experience. Our children grow up with us.
Despite the fact that I have been working at the school for so little, only 5 years, I understand that it was not in vain that I chose the profession of a teacher. But I can't imagine myself in any other profession. I can’t even do a day without my fifth-graders, who, leaving for the weekend, are already dreaming that the next Monday would come sooner. It's nice when you go out onto the porch of the school, and you are already surrounded by a crowd of kids and everyone tells something of their own, everyone strives to be the first. Only children understand the state of the teacher. Therefore, I always come to school in high spirits, because children always feel the mood. For me, my work is the meaning of life. Students are like flowers, which has its own color of mood, its own habits, its own actions.
Not everyone can be a teacher. A teacher is a gift of nature, a talent.Without teachers, one cannot become a good doctor, or a pilot, or a military man. A teacher is an irreplaceable person, he is everything for his students, everything for his country.
“This is the profession of a teacher.
In my opinion, it is not more important.
Teacher, master, educator,
Keeper of knowledge, creator of children's souls,
The teacher holds the whole world on himself.
My profession is a teacher!
Gorozhanova Irina Evgenievna

Each person has his own destiny, given to him by nature, God or the society in which he was born. When I studied at the institute, many of my friends and even relatives said: “Why do you need this? Are you going to work at school? Is this a normal profession? This is irrelevant! Little pay! Children are unbearable! Teaching them is a hell of a job!” And I did not react to such statements, sometimes keeping silent, sometimes trying to explain how wrong they were. Over time, I decided that people who are "not far off" think so, or rather, far from understanding this profession. After all, teaching children is probably not a profession, but, indeed, a mission, a vocation (no matter how trite it may sound). And it is a pity that few people understand this. After all, even now I sometimes see some strange reaction in adults, serious people caused by the answer to the question about my profession. Some smile, some are horrified, some immediately ask about the salary, and some do not believe at all, saying that I do not look like a teacher at all. All this is very strange. After all, this profession has long been considered one of the most respected, noble, necessary and important. Personally, I chose her early years. For as long as I can remember, I dreamed about how I would teach children. Maybe my passion for reading had an effect (from the age of three I devoured book after book, moreover, deliberately), maybe my love for the younger ones played a role (being a child myself, I loved to mess with the little ones), or maybe it was laid in me at the genetic level (my grandmother was a primary school teacher, and my father was a teacher at a military institute), and later, at school, it was instilled and developed by my excellent teachers. Whatever it was, but the childhood dream eventually came true.
Of course, not without conflicts, quarrels and tears. But perfect is never and nowhere. And it will not be interesting to live if everything around will develop only well. Sometimes it takes a long time to win the hearts of your students. But the learning process is long. They come to the first grade as such ridiculous fools, and by the eleventh grade we see them as adults, smart people who have their own views and judgments. And this process of becoming a personality takes place before our eyes and with our direct participation. You begin to feel proud that you invest knowledge, skills in students, shape them inner world, aesthetic views and tastes, worldview, instill moral values You learn to appreciate and understand true beauty. In general, you are one of important links in the life of a growing person. And among other things, the teacher combines several professions at once.
First, the teacher must be a good psychologist, able to look into the souls of his students. It is very important for children to become the person to whom they can open up. After all, unfortunately, not always a child can completely trust his parents. And the teacher just needs to find and open the door in the heart of each student. There is no other way, without this it will simply be impossible to work: it is difficult to teach something if you are not trusted, if there is antipathy, misunderstanding. Of course, students cannot love us as their parents, but we must win sympathy and respect from them. Not fear of the teacher and "deuces", but only positive feelings and emotions will help in successful learning schoolchildren. After all, this process is two-way, so even if the teacher abstracts from the negative and just teaches a lesson (although this is also very difficult, but for me it is simply impossible), then you cannot deceive the children. If they do not perceive you as a person, then, moreover, they will not accept you as a teacher. And a two-way process will not work.
Without a doubt, the teacher must be a professional in his subject, always perfectly prepared for the lesson, be erudite, know everything (and not only in his subject), be ready to answer any child's question. But the fact of the matter is that very often we are asked questions that are not entirely, and sometimes not at all, related to the subject. And this is also the originality of our profession. After all, they don’t ask, for example, the doctor about when a comma is placed before I. And the teacher often deals with various issues related to health, such as: different kind pain, injury, bruises, and so on. And here, too, you can not show your weakness. Once a boy from my class seriously injured his hand: blood flowed like a river. And I'm not just afraid of blood, but I faint at the sight of it. Nevertheless, it was necessary to provide assistance: wash, bandage. And I did it! It was a kind of victory over myself. So it turns out that the teacher combines several professions in his work, and even there are cases of manifestation of “real heroism”. You will definitely not find this in fashionable and highly paid professions today.
It is often said that all children are talented in their own way, and I think this is actually true. And the teacher (especially the philologist), as an outstanding director, must reveal this sometimes very deeply hidden talent. You just need to look around more often, carefully and closely observe, and you will see creative personalities your students! And not only children need it. When you see how unremarkable, it would seem, a student with great diligence and enthusiasm performs on stage, even with a small role, you feel not just moral satisfaction, but real happiness. And be sure to praise the child. We all know how to criticize, but not everyone can celebrate something good. And this quality is very necessary and useful: it inspires confidence, helps to overcome complexes and increases the desire and effort of children. Also, a personal example helps a lot. Pupils are simply "infected" by the teacher's enthusiasm. I have watched many times how my guys imitate me in reciting poems, performing on stage, so I take part in all events on an equal basis with them.
And in general, extracurricular work, it seems to me, is simply a necessary continuation of lesson activities. Only here, in a direct, relaxed environment, do children begin to really get involved in the subject. After all driving force extracurricular activities advocated interest. If the work in the classroom, regulated by a single and mandatory program for all, is aimed at forming a system of knowledge, skills and abilities, then extracurricular work impresses the student with voluntary participation, freedom of individual choice. literary material, forms of communication with art, ways of creative self-expression - the opportunity to do what you want and can: try yourself as an artist, actor, director, screenwriter, etc. extracurricular activities communication itself (interpersonal, cognitive, artistic, creative) is more open. In the process of this work, a special relationship is created between the student and the teacher - more friendly, they are distinguished by openness and informality that arise in an atmosphere of genuine co-creation. A different student reveals himself to the teacher precisely during extracurricular activities. And it often turns out that a boy or a girl, who did not declare anything about herself in the class, is seriously interested in some questions, authors, are drawn to art, try their hand at literary or theatrical creativity.
And the teacher should also be a role model not only internally, but also externally, so we must always look "excellent": stylish clothes, hairstyle, makeup, manicure - everything must be perfect. In general, I think that a teacher is almost like a movie or pop star. After all, children think we are special. Sometimes it seems to me that they do not understand that we are just ordinary women, like their mothers, burdened with household chores, having their own problems, and sometimes something can get sick. But maybe that's for the best. We must be special, as unusual as the teaching profession.
By the way, if you noticed, I never used the word "teacher" in my reasoning. I really don't like it: alien, rough, hard, somehow inanimate. The word "TUTOR" is much softer in terms of phonetics, more beautiful in terms of graphics, more correct in terms of Russian vocabulary and "more problem-free" in terms of spelling. This is how a person should be who is given this high destiny - to be a teacher.
Teaching is not work, but renunciation,
The ability to give everything
Leave for a long feat and torment,
And in this to see the light and grace.
Teaching - when in the eyes of the cold
The dawn of understanding will light up,
And you will understand: you tried not fruitlessly
And knowledge scattered not in vain.

I am a teacher - this is my calling, because I never doubted the choice of my profession.
While still in elementary school, I decided for myself: I will work as a teacher at school. A few years later, by the time of graduation from school, the decision to choose a teaching profession had not changed. Surprisingly, not a burning desire to teach at school was the main thing for me in choosing a profession. It's just that my school passion for organizing events led me to this decision. Even then it was clear to me what my profession should be.
My dream has come true. I'am a teacher!
I teach children, and I myself learn from my students. I do not give ready-made truths and knowledge to my students, but I encourage children to search, develop, create conditions for the development of creative abilities.
I am interested in everything that surrounds us, I am constantly in creative search, because as long as the teacher is interesting to the child, our school is alive. I try to improve, keep up with the times.
Having worked at the school for 10 years, I used many technologies, various forms and teaching methods in my work. But, in my opinion, it is possible to know your subject very well, but not be able to interest students in it, if you do not pay attention to a student-centered approach. What is the quality of education then?
I am human. I tend to err. Children feel false, so I try to admit my mistakes. The main thing for me is to be sure that I know what to do. Teaching is not even a profession, but a way of life. I live by the fact that every day I go to school in order to teach, to help find myself in this complex world to every child. I try to be kind and strict, open and understanding.
Modern students are free to use a computer, they cannot imagine their life without the Internet. In addition, the difficult economic environment recent years contributed to the fact that there is a social stratification of society. Many students, often from socially disadvantaged families, do not want to study, do not see the need or prospects for this. These students are not motivated to learn.
And the main task schools and teachers - to help create an atmosphere in the classroom in which each student feels the need for learning. Children very subtly feel which teacher is in front of them. Whether he loves them, whether he knows the subject or not, whether he understands their needs or not. In order to teach competently, to interest the student, the teacher needs to understand the needs modern student. And for this you need to love your subject very much, respect the personality of the student, be able to perceive his point of view.
Autumn again, new school year, new class. These are different children, they have different views on life, on studies. They are also talented, smart, each with their own ambitions. But I am sure that over time I will tell them: "You are my best, most ...".
This is how a teacher should ideally be. I can't say that I am just such a teacher. But I love my profession, I can't imagine my life without children. Despite all the difficulties of my profession, every year I look forward to meeting my beloved students.
I am grateful to fate for becoming a teacher, because I love what I teach, and I love those to whom I teach.
