In September 2015, the grand opening of the Branch of the Moscow state university Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov in Yerevan (Armenia). The branch trains specialists in five areas: applied mathematics and computer science, international relations, jurisprudence, linguistics and journalism.
The Faculty of World Politics oversees the direction of "international relations". The first dean of the FMP, Academician A.A. Kokoshin is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Branch. The best teachers of the faculty during 4 years of bachelor's degree provide high-quality training of students in specialized subjects.
According to teachers, the students of the Branch, studying in the direction of "International Relations" demonstrate a keen interest in the chosen specialty and the subjects studied, are purposeful, distinguished by solidarity and a strong team spirit. These and other positive qualities help them to win competitions organized by the Branch administration and the Student Council of the Branch.

Branch of Lomonosov Moscow State University in Sevastopol- the only one in the area Crimea branch of the oldest Russian university, at the time of foundation in 1999 - the first foreign branch of Moscow State University. Before 2008 called Chernomorsky branch Moscow State University . Currently, more than 800 students study at the branch.
Story
The Black Sea branch of Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov was founded March 29 1999 at the initiative of the mayor Moscow Yu. M. Luzhkova and Rector of Moscow State University V. A. Sadovnichy based on the decision of the Academic Council of Moscow State University. This decision was agreed with the governments Russia and Ukraine. Financial and organizational support in the creation of the branch was provided by The government of Moscow. The restoration of the Lazarevsky barracks and the construction of new buildings of the branch was carried out by the construction department Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation.
In July 1999, the first enrollment of students of the branch took place. By that time, the reconstruction of the educational building had not yet been completed, therefore entry exams took place in high school № 8 Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation in Sevastopol, and enrolled students are the first academic year conducted at the head university in Moscow.
Lazarevsky barracks
The branch of Moscow State University in Sevastopol is located on the territory of the Lazarevsky barracks on Ship side cities. Two of the four buildings of the branch - the main and laboratory buildings - are among the oldest buildings in Sevastopol that have survived to this day. They were erected in 1840s under the leadership of the admiral M. P. Lazareva(-), who from to 1851 led the Black Sea Fleet and was a military governor Nikolaev and Sevastopol.
On the initiative of Admiral Lazarev in Sevastopol, the building of the first library in the city, the Church of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul, Count's Quay, laid Midshipman and Historical boulevards, the first monument in the city - to the commander brig "Mercury" lieutenant commander A. I. Kazarsky. In 1843, by order of Lazarev, on the shore South Bay construction began on nine three-story buildings for ship crews, where 6,000 sailors could simultaneously be accommodated in comfortable conditions.
In 1901, a training detachment was opened in the buildings of the Lazarevsky barracks. Black Sea Fleet. After 30 years, the first recruitment took place in the barracks naval school Coastal Defense named after Lenin Komsomol. After Great Patriotic War, during which the buildings of the barracks suffered significant damage, the school was relocated to Riga.
In the late 1990s, the northern building of the Lazarevsky barracks was restored specifically for the Black Sea branch of Moscow State University. Later, in - 2004, the neighboring building was restored, which housed the laboratory building.
In 1867, in front of the building, which now houses the main building of the branch, a monument to Admiral Lazarev was unveiled (sculptor - N. S. Pimenov). In 1928 the monument was destroyed by the Bolsheviks. In 2000, a foundation stone was installed in its place in honor of the future revival of the monument. During solemn events in the branch, flowers and wreaths are laid to the foundation stone.
