In order to achieve something, you need to know where to go, ideally it would be better to know what to do, but this knowledge should come gradually. This article will describe my day, from the distant, or maybe not very distant, future.
Is it easy to write about what you don't know yet? I think no. But it is perhaps possible to describe the day that you want to live in the future, the day from the life you want to live in. All you need is to have a dream and be able to dream. Is it easy? The answer is not clear. For some people, this is easy, and it is the dream that drives their lives, makes them work, act to achieve their dreams. Perhaps at first timid, a little later more confident, and then completely fantastic. For other people, life has become so mundane, routine or something, that they forget not only to dream, but to think normally. Why am I? People, dream, let your inner forces move you towards your dream. Well, okay, without false modesty, I will start my short (or not) story about my one day from the future.
Early in the morning, at what time I like to get up, I woke up in my bedroom. My house is in picturesque place. Here I can safely work without thinking about problems with the Internet. But sometimes, in the past, it was problems with the Internet that did not allow much to be done. The work is on its way. My assistants work around the clock, they make sure that all the well-established mechanisms work without failures. The monthly report is already on the coffee table next to freshly brewed coffee with cream and two sugars. My beloved wife and five of my beautiful children live in the house with me.
The phone rings, it's my mom. I'm in again tried to answer her where her son got the money from, but nothing sensible came of it. She can't understand how I can make money just by sitting 2 hours a day in front of a laptop screen.
Partners call and offer to open new directions of sites. This is such an eventful life, but I am calm, because soon the day will come for which I bought a ticket to a small space trip. Is it expensive? Yes, but I can afford it. After all, I own a popular online store that sells everything that is in demand. Its attendance is huge - 1,000,000 people a day, the number of sales is at the level of "only" 1 percent. And the average purchase price is 1,000 rubles. So is an excursion into space expensive? Yes, but only from a moral point of view, because I am a webmaster who was lucky and who in the distant past, a young man named Roman, gave a good kick. What for? Then, so that I finally get off the ground and start working and dreaming, but not just dreaming, but believing in my bright future, at least a little.
You can also listen to the recording of "One Day from the Future" in audio format.
It turned out more about the things that I dream about, but I don’t know what I would do specifically in the future. But I think there is a bright future ahead of me. And I wish you the fulfillment of your dreams and may everything be fine.

In the age of information technology, no one will be surprised by the fact that the work of many scientists has created a device that can move people in space. Trying to create such a thing, for many centuries, connoisseurs of all times have worked tirelessly. And now, after long experiments, by studying the works of many great scientists, the Time Machine was invented! Initially, its existence was top secret, in order to hide the greatest achievement of science, an underground bunker was built in the Caucasus mountains. The device was submerged to a depth of 65 meters, where, under the supervision of only two hundred eyes, the Time Machine was used only for special, important cases ... But soon, after numerous trips to the past and future, the main questions of interest were answered. And finally, the stamp "top secret" was removed. The multi-meter bunker was turned into a museum where everyone could know their future and remember the past.
This Saturday I woke up very early, because it was today, this very morning, that my class, accompanied by the class teacher, went to the Caucasus, to the “Museum of Time”. Taking everything I needed with me, I went to the place where all the guys were supposed to meet. I was very worried, and while walking, I imagined what this trip would be like, what the museum would be like and, most importantly, whether I could go into the future, see what would become of me, my friends, relatives. Noticing the guys, I realized that I was not the only one worried: intrigue was read on the faces of many, and disputes between the boys did not subside when they made assumptions about the design of the bunker and the Time Machine itself. Some said that it would be a small watch, and if you scroll the arrow forward, you will be transported to the future, and if you go back, you will return to the past tense. Others denied this idea, arguing that such a small watch would not have been placed at such a great depth. In the view of these guys, the Time Machine is something similar to a sports car and driving it is no different from driving a vehicle. The argument stopped the sound of an approaching bus. Noisily, we ran in and sat on comfortable blue chairs. The bus started off and after a short period of time drove onto the highway outside the city. Soon my classmates calmed down and fell asleep, and there was silence in the bus. It started to rain. I sat and watched as drop by drop rolled down the window pane. Soon a knock on the window lulled me to sleep ...
The noise and lively hubbub of the guys woke me up. We drove up to the foot of the mountain, where the entrance to the museum was located, where the Time Machine was kept. Looking out the window, I saw a heavy reinforced concrete door, about five meters high. The class teacher ordered us to get off the bus, taking only the essentials with us, and line up in pairs. Having completed all the actions told to us, we moved to the huge gate. Passing through them, two armed men in military uniform . Before me was a long gray corridor. I realized that this is a tunnel in the mountain, a tunnel to a device, the invention of which, we should be grateful to the greatest minds of our time. We left five hundred meters of the road behind, and now we came to something that looked like an elevator, only much larger, more spacious: my entire class (and there were 26 of us) with a teacher and two men who checked documents at the entrance, occupied only a third of the elevator. We rushed down, and on the side, next to the exit, wet and dark "floors" flashed by. I was upset, I didn’t like the boring and gray interior, but I understood that I shouldn’t have expected anything else, because we were in a bunker ... The elevator stopped abruptly and, following one of the soldiers, we went out to the lower, as we were told, the last level. I didn't believe my eyes! Bright, well lit room. White glossy floors, ceilings, walls were decorated with turquoise stripes and portraits of many scientists. There was no feeling of darkness and dungeon, although we were at a depth of 65 meters. The people walking around the level wore clothes similar to the interior: white trousers and a long white shirt, with turquoise and black vertical stripes near the buttons on one side. Almost everyone had tablets of the same color in their hands. Looking around the room, I was delighted. Soon a young, beautiful girl with a still very childish face approached us, and we went on an excursion. We were told about how the famous device was built, who took part in its creation, what secrets were revealed thanks to it. I really wanted to see the Time Machine itself! And so the guide brought us to the main exhibit of the museum, and I saw what I had dreamed of seeing all day! In front of me was a cylindrical device, and not far away was the control panel. The girl told how it works: “He who wants to travel in time space enters the capsule,” she pointed to the building in the center, “Inside the capsule is a time control panel. You must enter the day, month, year and time you want to move to. Next, you need to take a seat in the cockpit - a circle located exactly in the middle. After that, the employees of our museum, sitting at the control panel, will immerse you in a state similar to a dream. It's time for us to stop and you can safely move into the future. When you decide it's time to return to the present, go back into the capsule and press the "Home" button on the remote control. But! According to the security rules, we cannot move you to the past, as you can disrupt the course of history, and by changing something in the past, you will change something in the present without noticing it. Guys, do you understand? - she turned to us and her young, cheerful face became incredibly serious. Nodding to her, we took turns, in alphabetical order, began to enter the capsule. The faces of the guys who got out of the cab were filled with delight, some of them a little scared. When half of the class had visited their future, it was my turn to find out the answers to questions about their future position in society.
Leaving the apartment, we found ourselves in a bright entrance. It did not resemble in any way what was called the entrance twenty years ago: white, glossy walls were decorated with candlesticks of the same color, from which a cold bright light emanated. I was told to get into the elevator. It was like a time capsule, thanks to which I am now here. The elevator was made of durable glass. The number 70 shone on the elevator control panel. As an adult, I wrote the number 1 and the elevator went. Turning to face the opposite wall from the entrance, I saw the city landscape.What is the city of the future, and how should it be? Science fiction writers, designers, and engineers think about these questions. At the same time, they often seek answers to these questions in close interaction with each other.Reading science fiction books, I constantly draw to myself various images of the cities of the future, with skyscrapers going high beyond the clouds, flying island houses, flying cars. I always wanted to look into the future and see what they would look like. And here I am, I look through the glass walls of the elevator and see a green city in front of me: metal skyscrapers shining in the light of a bright and gentle sun, and high-speed cars are combined with green meadows and parks. How pleasant it is to realize that the forecasts of environmental disasters did not come true, and humanity took up the stabilization of the fragile natural harmony in time. Noticing my interest in environment, I was told how in 2025 the forest was on the verge of extinction, oxygen deficiency and an excess of harmful, toxic gases made itself felt. It was decided to use only the energy of the sun and wind on an industrial scale, which significantly reduced the amount of bad and dangerous gases in the atmosphere. Listening to the story of my companion, I noticed that we were moving for a very long time ... "What a tall building," I involuntarily said, "Tell me, how many floors are there?" Looking at me as if I had said something without thinking, she answered me: “There are seventy above-ground and five underground floors. The lower floor is parking. That's where we're heading now." The woman finished her story and smiled, remembering that I was from her past. Walking down to the car park, we emerged into a large space that looked very much like all but the last level of the bunker: a gray, damp room. After walking a few meters, we approached the car. It looked no different from the cars of my day, but I understood that it most likely had hidden functions. Once in the car, I felt more comfortable than ever: subdued lights and a dark interior. As an adult, I got behind the wheel and said only the address: “Sklifosovsky Street 367, place 250”, and the car itself went to the given address! That's the difference - self-management! The trip passed in silence, I was still looking at the landscapes of the future.
Soon we drove up to a tall building (even higher than the house where I ended up). A sunroof opened in front of the vehicle, and the car slid into it and, after flying a section of about two kilometers, stopped at location 250 and parked. We went out and went to the opening in the wall, I realized it was the same elevator. Just like at home, we entered and entered floor 4. The elevator moved, but it was not made of glass, but of a durable, opaque material. Nevertheless, it was light and bright. Feels like we flew three floors, stopped. The doors opened and I followed me out of the elevator. I saw something similar to a hospital, only very strange: grass was growing right from the floor. Neatly trimmed green plants fit in with the interior of the hospital, which was done in wood and beige tones. The feeling that we are now in 2040 evaporated, because imagining the hospital of the future, I thought about the dazzling white walls, and the incredible austerity of the interior. “I thought it would be interesting for you to know about the medical institution of your future, am I right?” Seeing my admiring face, she continued, “I work as an oncologist in this hospital. As you know, oncology is a branch of medicine that studies benign and malignant tumors, the mechanisms and patterns of their development, methods for their prevention, diagnosis and treatment.Cancer is a broad and heterogeneous class of diseases. They are systemic and affect, one way or another, all human organs and systems. There are many forms and variants of the course of cancer. Although patients often perceive a cancer diagnosis as a death sentence, not all even malignant tumors lead to death. Modern research demonstrated that cancer cells and microtumors regularly appear in every person in the body, which die and resolve under the influence of the antitumor immunity system. By researching this, we are close to inventing a vaccine that can beat cancer! Can you imagine? If everything ends well, then in the near future the cancer will become something like the flu, ”telling this, my new acquaintance showed me around the hospital and went to work. I stayed in her office and, amazed by the mass of new impressions, fell asleep.
They woke me up only when we again found ourselves in a bright living room and, looking out the window, I was delighted with the night landscape of the city of the future. All the trees shone with hundreds of colored lanterns, the headlights of cars created a huge garland. Looking at the clock, I realized that it was time to return to reality. I was upset, I didn't want to leave this world, I didn't want to leave myself. And after saying goodbye, although it was incredibly difficult and difficult, I promised that someday I would return again. I went to the time capsule and the doors parted in different directions. Entering, I stood in the center of the circle and reluctantly pressed the home button on the remote control. The familiar feeling came back to me. For about thirty seconds I was spinning and suddenly everything stopped abruptly. The doors opened, and again I saw familiar faces: the tour guide girl, my classmates who were waiting to visit the future, my classroom teacher, strictly observing those guys who have already returned to the present. Having taken a few steps, I joined their company: girls and boys shared their impressions and, talking about their adventures, tried not to miss anything. When they saw me, they started asking questions. With great pleasure, I told about a cozy apartment, a green city, a self-driving car, a leap in the development of medicine, why I am wearing such strange clothes and about myself in the future.
When all the guys finished their travels, thanking everyone for the wonderful tour, we returned to the surface the same way we went down to the legendary Time Machine. With noise and a mountain of emotion, we boarded the bus. For two hours the class was animatedly discussing their future, the future of their classmates. As in the morning, when we went to the "Museum of Time", it began to rain. Despite the thunderstorm, the bus was warm and comfortable. I thought about the fact that if I now know my future (if I continue to live the way I live and dream of becoming a doctor), then perhaps I can change it. I thought about the fact that if I lived in Russia in 2040 at my present age, how would I have fun, where would I go to study, would I connect myself with the precise and complex, but such a fascinating world of medicine? Going through my head magical memories of my day from the future, I realized that nothing and no one can tame my desire to help people, heal them, save lives. I'm not going to change anything ... The knocking outside the window intensified, and the childish voices subsided. Night fell, and everyone, without exception, fell asleep.
When you saw such a name for an intellectual competition, you were probably surprised. Do not wonder! We are in a hurry to please you: a unique competition has started on our portal, the theme of which was announced by the President of Russia V.V. Putin.
On September 1, in honor of the Day of Knowledge, Vladimir Vladimirovich held an open lesson in Yaroslavl at the “ProektoriYa” forum for schoolchildren from all over the country. During the lesson, the President noted that Russia hopes for the active participation of young citizens in the life of our people, because the prosperous and happy future of the state depends only on the actions of each of us. In this regard, on open lesson Vladimir Vladimirovich invited the children to think about how they see Russia at the turn of the 2040s-2050s.
We decided to support the idea of the President and invite you to complete the following task: to imagine how you see our state in the period of 2040-2050s, by presenting your thoughts in the contest "Russia Aspiring to the Future".
We invite you to take part in this unusual, exciting and very serious competition by choosing one of the listed nominations.
- Nomination "School of the Future"
Try to create a curriculum for a school where your children will be learning in 20-30 years. Academic plan should contain the disciplines that students will study, as well as the competencies that graduates will have to master.
What items do you think will be in demand and relevant in the 2040s-2050s? Why?
- Nomination: "Innovations in the field of education"
Develop new ways of teaching and teaching methods for children in the school of the future. How do you think classes should be educational institutions in 20-30 years? In what form will teachers transfer knowledge to schoolchildren and what technologies will they use? If traditional lessons take a back seat, what kind of educational activities will they give way to? Perhaps students will start attending thematic workshops, foresight sessions… Or maybe classes will be held remotely?
- Nomination: "The ideal person of the future"
Undoubtedly, in 20-30 years our country will undergo great changes in the political, economic, social and spiritual spheres. And what will the person become? What will be his inner world? We invite you to think about what qualities the ideal person of the future will have. Think about how to develop these qualities to contemporaries? And what should citizens do now to get closer to this ideal in the 2040s and 2050s? You need to describe in detail the qualities of a person of the future.
- Nomination: "Profession of the future"
Innovation touches every area of our lives. Over time, all established rules change. And if today one of the most popular professions is a doctor, a journalist, a teacher, an IT specialist, a salesman, this does not mean that in the future these specialties will be in the same demand. Already now in all areas are actively implemented Information Technology that are replacing popular professions. For example, large supermarkets are installing electronic self-service checkouts, where the buyer can pay for his purchases without outside help. And in the not too distant future, we will be driving self-driving electric vehicles. What professions do you think will gradually disappear, and which ones will be the most in demand in Russia in 20-30 years?
Make a map of future professions with a description of their job responsibilities.
- Nominated: "News Release in 2040"
As you know, journalism is one of the oldest professions. Imagine that you are working in the editorial office of the future and you need to prepare the latest news release. What do you think will happen in the world at this time; what topics the presenters will cover on the central channels; in what forms and genres will journalists transmit information to the audience?
Prepare for this transmission. You can complete the task in the form of an essay.
- Nomination: "History Lesson in the Future"
Imagine that you are in a history class at the school of the future. Lesson topic: "Russia 2017–2040". What do you think the teacher will tell about this historical period? What significant events will take place during these years? How will our country change and what will cause these transformations?
Prepare such a lesson in the form of an essay.
- Nominated: "One day in my life in the future"
Try to imagine that you have become a time traveler and found yourself in the future. Think about how you would organize your leisure time, where you went to study, what profession you dreamed of if you got to Russia in 2040. A prerequisite for the task is to create a story describing a short time period, namely one day in your life.
Competitive task: write an essay on one of the nominations.
If you are interested in participating in several nominations - send separate competitive works, indicating the name of the chosen nomination.
Criteria for evaluation of the competitive task:
- depth of disclosure of the topic;
- compliance of the content of the work with the goal;
- literacy of speech;
- persuasiveness of the presented material;
- logic;
- originality of the text.
The winners of the competition are awarded with diplomas I, II, III degree, and will also receive GIFTS .
The winners will also receive an illustrated collection the best works, prepared by the Organizing Committee of the portal for presentation to the first persons of the state.
Competition results
The scale of the intellectual competition "Russia Aiming for the Future" and its importance for the younger generation are demonstrated by the numbers: in total, more than 2,500 essays were sent to the competition, and 100 of them were recognized by the jury as the best!
For the organizers of the Gifted Children project, this competition has become no less significant. Evaluating the submitted works, the experts felt a great responsibility towards the young talents of Russia and carried out a deep analysis of each essay, not losing sight of even the smallest details. Moreover, reviews were written for all the essays, in which the jury members briefly outlined the thoughts and ideas of the authors, highlighted the strengths and noted the shortcomings, and then drew conclusions about the participants' works, arguing their assessment. Thanks to such a serious approach to checking essays and attentive attitude to the worldview of the younger generation, not a single essay was left without due attention, and important thoughts and ideas of the participants were included in the annotations to the competitive works. In the future, these materials can be used in their scientific papers eminent researchers.
The competition "Russia Aiming for the Future" has acquired great importance not only for the participants and organizers of the project "Gifted Children" - he stepped beyond the threshold of the Internet portal and announced himself to the whole country. The first persons of the state, heads of large organizations and structures became interested in the results of the intellectual competition. Thus, in January 2018, the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation will host a presentation of the best projects and a solemn award ceremony for the winners of the competition, which will be held by the First Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on Science, Education and Culture Liliya Salavatovna Gumerova, CEO Agency for Strategic Initiatives Svetlana Vitalievna Chupsheva and head of the Internet portal "Gifted Children" Marina Volynkina. We hope that the event will be attended by the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, the author of the idea of the competition "Russia Aimed at the Future" and the ideological inspirer of the team of the "Gifted Children" project.
Of course, summing up the results of a competition of such high significance cannot be limited only to rewarding and encouraging the talented youth of Russia - the proposals of gifted schoolchildren should be considered at the state level. That is why the project management will publish a collection of the best competitive works, which will include more than 100 essays of the winners of the intellectual competition and will be presented to the President of the Russian Federation, statesmen and the winners themselves at the awards ceremony.
We draw the attention of all participants of the project "Gifted Children" to the fact that soon a collection of the best competitive works in electronic form will be published on the Internet portal and it will be possible to get acquainted with the essays of talented peers, draw from the published materials a large number useful information to learn something from your like-minded people.
Congratulations to all the winners and participants of the "Russia Aiming for the Future" contest, who have reached such a significant peak. We wish you not to stop there, continue to improve, develop and, of course, “shine always, shine everywhere”!

One day of my life.
I get up in the morning and go to work. I enter the school hall and greet my colleagues. I go to my office, undress and sit down at the table.
Literally from minute to minute, children will be in this bright classroom, getting textbooks, sitting at their desks.
I notice everything. Masha looks very pretty today. She has adorable bows. Andrei forgot his textbook again. Most likely, he overslept and did not collect everything from the evening. Olenka looks tired, she didn't sleep well. Collected class. The lesson starts. Sasha is late again - it doesn't matter, he's just a little distracted. But he will definitely learn to keep track of time. I know it for sure.
Good morning, guys! Sit down.
The lesson has begun.
So the lesson will be replaced by a lesson. The Russian language is followed by mathematics.
At recess, Lenochka hit her hand on the desk. It's OK. She examined herself and finally calmed down. Lessons continue.
I stand at the blackboard and explain new topic. And I watch them myself. There is nothing more beautiful than these stakeholders. What a bright light shines in their eyes ... They are still so young, but they are already striving to absorb more and more new things. But it should be so, because they develop, grow to our joy.
The bell rang from the last lesson.
The lesson is over. Anton lingers and approaches me. He asks to explain the new topic to him again. He didn't understand a bit. I explain, make sure I understand and send home.
Notebooks are stacked on the table. I open the first one and start checking. I read with interest the text written in children's uncertain handwriting. They are so funny - baby curls. I continue on, checking notebook after notebook. So far, no three. The heart is filled with joy. I am convinced that the children have mastered the material and go home with peace of mind. If everything is fine today, it does not mean that tomorrow there will be no problems. And it's interesting.
Now my story seemed to you, for sure, boring. But believe me, it's not. It is simply impossible to describe in words that jubilant feeling of self-sufficiency and relevance that covers me when you catch a child's interested look. It is important to realize your responsibility and importance in the life of a child.
I give my students not only knowledge, but also a certain experience. After all, a teacher, like no one else, knows how to skillfully weave science and perception of life, teach how to fight and build your life.
This is how my day goes. As I enter the classroom with a smile, I leave. And in the evening, at home, over a cup of tea, I smile again and think. It's good that I'm a teacher. My favorite profession means a lot to me.
Tomorrow is a new day and new lessons. I'm waiting for you tomorrow!
I open my eyes and see a room furnished with the latest technology: an interactive panel equipped with artificial intelligence, furniture that transforms from one object to another. But I remember exactly how a couple of moments ago I, twenty years younger, was running in my yard and riding on a rusty swing - the only entertainment available. That time has long passed.
Getting ready for work, I turned on the TV: news anchors are actively discussing our country's success in space exploration and the price dynamics of tourist tickets to the Earth's orbit.
A car is waiting for me in the yard of the house, but not the one that runs on gasoline as a child, but an environmentally friendly car that has gone through years of research and innovation and runs on electricity. Now much attention is paid to the environment. About twenty years ago, people were just beginning to install treatment facilities at factories, to plant trees and shrubs around the houses. And now we see the results of these labors: everywhere there are flowers, alleys - and clean air.
Driving through the streets of the city, I notice how the construction of a new sports center is being completed.
It has such an interesting bizarre shape that it resembles an illustration from the old cartoon "Guest from the Future". But the residential buildings around it are built in classical style. This creates an atmosphere of order and tranquility. Such, however, is our state.
While I was standing at a traffic light, a large advertising plasma screen informed citizens that new traffic lights for people with disabilities appeared on neighboring streets. The company where I work was engaged in the construction and placement of these traffic lights. Based on the fashion trend and the political priority of the state, I decided to become an architect of living systems. This work gives me the opportunity to develop creatively, to give beauty and comfort to other people. But beauty and comfort can be found not only on the streets of the city.
The aesthetics of the present time mainly comes from exhibitions of contemporary art and science.
After a day at work, you don't always want to go home. I believe that inspiration is necessary for creativity, so after work I go to exhibitions of science and technology or to art galleries. I like
observe the development of science in modern world. If earlier robots were a rarity, now they are part of our daily life.
Already in the evening, when I return home, the sound of my steps triggers automatic lighting on the streets of the city, and I walk along the moonlit road, as if in a fairy tale ... but suddenly a bright flash blinds me.
I open my eyes and see in front of me the room in which I have been living for sixteen years and suddenly I realize that it was just a dream. Perhaps prophetic...
