The Honorable Sheikh Said-Afandi al Chirkavi k.s. said of As-Salam newspaper:
“I also have books and a lot of different literature at home, but I always read As-Salam and Nurul-Islam. They are brought to me and I read everything without missing a single issue, both of these newspapers have become very useful. In them you can find the answer to any questions on Sharia that we actually face today and one should not be lazy to subscribe to these newspapers. May Allah help you! I do not agree not to subscribe to these newspapers and I myself do not miss a single issue, although I do not particularly need them, because I also have books and other literature. But I love this newspaper, because I find a lot of interesting things in it, it is useful for me and you will also find a lot of useful things there ”
Mufti of Dagestan, Sheikh Ahmad Haji Afandi k.s. said of As-Salam newspaper:
“15 years have passed since the start of publishing the As-Salam newspaper, and since then I have no doubt what benefit the newspaper has brought to readers, Muslims, not only in our republic, outside the republic as a whole, in other regions of Russia. On this occasion, I would like to thank, first of all, the creative team, since a lot depends on the content of the newspaper. If it were not for the sincere approach, people would not like the newspaper and the circulation of the newspaper would not increase, and secondly I would like to thank and especially thank the distributors. When you pass in the city and in other places and meet young guys who distribute, go around, subscribe. Of course, there is no doubt that this work of theirs is jihad, which the Almighty requires of us.”

Today we will talk with the editor-in-chief of the most popular newspaper in Dagestan, As-salam, which has its readers throughout Russia and abroad, Aziz Michigishev.
- Aziz, what is in your newspaper that should be read?
- Spiritual and educational newspaper " As-Salam ” is designed for the widest range of readers. Basic hallmark of our publication is that by reading a newspaper, one can increase knowledge about the religion of Islam. All canonical materials are carefully checked by theologians. With the current abundance of the religious press and electronic media, I think the credibility and truthfulness of published articles comes first. Scooping information from the whole diverse stream, it is important not to stray from the right path. Compliance with Shariah, Koran, Sunnah is our guideline.
- The most read page is the nineteenth - "Question and Answer". It is not hard to guess why this particular page. Each of us has doubts, ambiguities, not everyone has enough knowledge to properly observe this or that religious duty. Therefore, many subscribers read and find answers on this page. Canonical pages « Shafi'i " and " Hanafi » Madhhabs are also one of the most popular. Before each holiday or important Islamic event, you can get the necessary information from the pages of these headings, thereby being ready for the upcoming event. Since the newspaper is federal, acquaintance with all corners of Russia in the heading "Islam in the regions" also has its regular reader. Children's, women's pages do not go unnoticed by the corresponding category.
- Can anyone send their article for publication in the newspaper?

An excerpt characterizing As-Salam
“Forgive me, mon cousin, that I came to you,” she said in a reproachfully agitated voice. “After all, we must finally decide on something!” What will it be? Everyone has left Moscow, and the people are rioting. What are we left with?“On the contrary, everything seems to be going well, ma cousine,” said Pierre with that habit of playfulness that Pierre, who always embarrassedly endured his role as a benefactor in front of the princess, learned to himself in relation to her.
- Yes, it's safe ... good well-being! Today Varvara Ivanovna told me how different our troops are. Certainly an honor to ascribe. Yes, and the people completely rebelled, they stop listening; my girl and she became rude. So soon they will beat us. You can't walk on the streets. And most importantly, today the French will be here tomorrow, what can we expect! I ask one thing, mon cousin, - said the princess, - order me to be taken to Petersburg: whatever I am, but I cannot live under Bonaparte power.
“Come on, ma cousine, where do you get your information from?” Against…
“I will not submit to your Napoleon. Others, as they wish ... If you do not want to do this ...
- Yes, I will, I will order now.
The princess, apparently, was annoyed that there was no one to be angry with. She, whispering something, sat down on a chair.
“But you are being misreported,” said Pierre. Everything is quiet in the city, and there is no danger. So I was reading now ... - Pierre showed the posters to the princess. - The count writes that he answers with his life that the enemy will not be in Moscow.
“Ah, this count of yours,” the princess spoke with malice, “this is a hypocrite, a villain who himself set the people to rebel. Didn't he write in these stupid posters that whatever it was, drag him by the crest to the exit (and how stupid)! Whoever takes, he says, honor and glory. That's where he messed up. Varvara Ivanovna said that she almost killed her people because she spoke French ...
“But it’s so ... You take everything to heart very much,” said Pierre and began to play solitaire.
Despite the fact that the solitaire converged, Pierre did not go to the army, but remained in deserted Moscow, still in the same anxiety, indecision, in fear and together in joy, expecting something terrible.
The next day, the princess left in the evening, and his commander-in-chief came to Pierre with the news that the money he required for uniforming the regiment could not be obtained unless one estate was sold. The commander-in-chief generally represented to Pierre that all these undertakings of the regiment were supposed to ruin him. Pierre could hardly hide his smile, listening to the manager's words.
“Well, sell it,” he said. “What can I do, I can’t refuse now!”
The worse the state of all affairs, and especially his affairs, the more pleasant it was for Pierre, the more obvious it was that the catastrophe for which he was waiting was approaching. Already almost none of Pierre's acquaintances was in the city. Julie has gone, Princess Mary has gone. Of close acquaintances, only the Rostovs remained; but Pierre did not go to them. 1. - Does the books say anything about rubbing the eyes with the fingers when mentioning the name of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ during the azan? 2. - I heard that it is possible to condole with the relatives of the deceased only during three days.
